Information about events hosted each year by Davis Bike Club
- Foxy's Fall Blend by Steady Eddys
The Davis Bike Club hosts several cycling events and club challenges throughout the year.
We host two signature events:
- Davis Double Century
200 miles through Yolo, Napa and Lake counties; always held on the 3rd Saturday in May
- Foxy's Fall Century
3 routes - 100 miles, 100km, and a flat 50km family ride; always held on the 3rd Saturday in October
For randonneurs and ultra-distance riders, we host:
- A full Brevet Series
200km, 300km, 400km, and 600km events from March through June
- Several late-season brevet events
100km 'Populaire', a point-to-point 'Dart', and the Last Chance/First Chance 200km brevets
- Gold Rush Randonnee
1200km brevet, held every four years; next hosted June 24-28, 2013
We have several Club Challenges for DBC members:
- March Bicycle Madness
Miles you ride in March turn into helmets for school-age children
- April Alpinsanity
A climb-for charity challenge supporting the Food Bank of Yolo County and the Woodland Bike Campaign
The DBC Race Team hosts two events:
- Dunlap Memorial Time Trial in June
- Fourth of July Criterium in downtown Davis
Finally, the club organizes two celebratory, no-helmet-required events for members:
- March Madness Awards Banquet
- Our annual Holiday Party
