The DBC Race Team hosts two races every year:
The Fourth of July Criterium can legitimately be called a "classic" race - a Northern California institution started in 1976. The event features all day racing in downtown Davis for most categories, including a kid’s fun race. This race includes a generous prize list and is known for its technical eight-corner course. Past winners include Greg Lemond, Mike Sayers, Dave McCook, and Nathan Dahlberg.
The Dunlap Time Trial is a memorial to Steve Dunlap, an inspirational DBC racer who tragically died in August 1991 at a young age of complications with asthma. This race raises money for the promotion of Junior racing within the Davis Bike Club. The proceeds of this event provide for coaching, equipment, and other expenses to assist local youth in their quest to succeed in cycling. The race has been run on a number of different courses over the years. Since 1990, it has been run on a 35 km loop, starting near downtown Winters.
