Guidelines for the coordination of a 1200 km and 1000 km brevet
.- A Randonneur Club or organization/person in charge may prepare a brevet of 1200 km and one of 1000 km using the same route, on the same dates and utilizing the same control points
.- The participant/randonneur must choose before departure which brevet, the 1200km or the 1000 km, he will do and will receive only the relevant control card.
.- The participant/randonneur who opts for the 1200 km brevet will receive only the 1200 km control card. Validation of his success will be by the President of les Randonneurs Mondiaux.
.- The participant/randonneur who opts for the 1200 km brevet and at the 1000 km control point abandons the randonnée, for whatever reason, cannot claim a 1000 km validation.
.- The participant/randonneur who selected and completed the 1000 km brevet according to the rules of Brevets Randonneurs Mondiaux and in the 75 hours interval, may after the 1000 km brevet, on demand receive a 200 km control card. This 200 km brevet must also be completed according to the BRM rules and in the 13:30 hours interval.
.- The two brevets (1000 km and 200 km) thus completed may be submitted to the ACP for validations according to the current policies. The participant/Randonnuers having no supporting documentation cannot request validation of a 1200 km from the President of les Randonneurs Mondiaux
.- The Randonneur Club or the organizing body may give some form of recognition to the participant/randonneur who has completed both a 1000 km and a 200 km within 90 hours, but this recognition will have value only for a 1000 km and a 200 km from the ACP and no value from les Randonneurs Mondiaux.
