Welcome to DBC
Our more than 600 members enjoy recreational cycling, racing, touring, randonneuring and mountain biking. Please join us on a DBC ride or event.
The Davis Bike Club is a nonprofit organization dedicated to cycling and cycling-related activities. Based in Davis, California, our membership has a wide variety of cycling interests and abilities. The DBC hosts a variety of rides and events: recreational and family rides, multi-day tours, randonneuring and ultra-distance events, and racing . What all of our members have in common is a love of bicycling and the desire to promote it as a fun, healthy, safe, and environmentally sustainable means of transportation.
On Sunday, May 11th at 5:30pm, please join members of the Women's Development Program, coach Robina Farina, film director Kathryn Bertine, and cycling personality Bob Roll as we screen the film 'Half the Road' and host a reception and silent auction.
On May 21, 2014, the Ride of Silence will once again roll across the globe. Cyclists will take to the streets in a silent procession to honor those who have been killed or injured while cycling on public roadways. The Davis Ride of Silence will start at the Veterans Memorial Center parking lot. We will gather at 6:30pm and roll out precisely at 7:00pm.
Join us on May 3rd for the third ride in our Spring Brevet Series. We are also looking for volunteers to help us stage this event.
The 45th annual Davis Double is Saturday, May 17, 2014. Please join us for 200 scenic and well-supported miles through Yolo, Napa and Lake counties.
