Monthly Rides – General Information

To become a stronger climber: climb.

DBC members lead rides that occur on specific days of each month (the Third Saturday ride, for example).  The rides below are generally held monthly.  As with weekly rides, check the Club Ride and Event Calendar, or contact the ride leader, to make sure the ride you plan to join will take place.  Sometimes ride leaders will alter their regular route due to weather conditions or other circumstances.  If you plan to join a ride en route, make sure to check with the ride leader, and be prepared for the chance that you may not meet up with the ride.

Monthly rides generally are not held if they fall on the same day as a major DBC event (such as the Davis Double Century in May and Foxy's Fall Century in October).  Check with the ride leader if want to make sure the ride will be held on a particular date.

Most rides start at Starbucks on Lyndell Terrace.  Rides marked with an asterisk (*) start at a location other than Starbucks, and those details will be fully detailed in the Ride Description.
